Aviation jobs like Airportground handling agents have a high demand in terms of success. I have been in flights many times, and I don’t have any doubt in accepting that the backbone of the Airlines is the Airportground crew. 

I mean just imagine the airlines without them. There would be no discipline, but only arguments.  The whole process of the flights depends on the shoulders of these agents.

Now you will wonder what ground handling is? It means services which are been done in the airport. There are so many services which are been done in the airport. And airlines do provide a large number of employments.  Jobs like:

1.       Flight Attendants

2.       Pilots; Agricultural pilots and Corporate pilots

3.       Baggage handlers

4.       Airport Ground Handling agents

5.       Ramp agents

I know you will be wondered what is the exact work of an airport ground staff? To be frank, to be an airport handling member you doesn’t need high college degree. 

If you have completed your high school, then also you can apply for this field. This field only requires certain training which will be provided to you by the airlines.

They also have responsibility in regarding landing permits USA or overflight permits. Landing permits means a permission which is got from any country to make a technical stop or to overfly by a country aircraft.

In simple words, airportground handling duties are a lot to say about. All the ground operation is done by these hard working people. I remember when my flight got delayed due to some weather conditions. And I also remember how these staff helped me at that time.

From providing me food to taking care of my luggage everything was in control. That is when I realized that how perfectly they do their work.

Talking about the ground handling CSA they have surely provided a lot of facilities for the senior citizens. It is nice to see that they have not been neglected, and equal priority is given to them. 

Ground services doesn’t mean only to look after the aircraft, it includes the customer’s problems too.
Now let’s give a highlight to the Airport ground crew job description.

There are 3 ways which they work. Inside, outside the airport terminal and technical support, these 3 are the main.

1.       Inside the airport premises:

·         Booking or re-booking the passengers tickets whose flights have been scheduled or cancelled.

·         Providing assistance to the disable passengers and senior citizens.

·         Assisting passengers regarding any lost or delayed baggage.

2.       Outside the airport premises:

·         Outside premises includes the uploading and loading of the baggages from airplanes.

·         Helping passengers in boarding the de-boarding the aircraft.

·         Giving directions to aircraft to taxi spot.

3.       Technical support:

·         Technical duties are also an important task in the airlines, like providing necessary documents to the airplane captain.

·         Checking the weather conditions& fuel, manage all the staffs around the aircraft.

·         Looking the fleet management and airline network.


Through all these years of my visit to several places, I have realized that these hardworking people have made the airlines at the top in world. 

Most people prefer airline services & jobs due to these reasons. Why is that? Because we all know these are the people which help their customers to reach their destination in time without any hurdles.
